Yakima 8004084 JayHook Kayak J-Cradle Kayak Carriers are compatible with Yakima crossbars, Thule crossbars, and most other aftermarket and factory installed bars out of the box. The JayHook safely transports all styles of kayaks including touring and whitewater kayaks, plastic and composite kayaks, while requiring far less crossbar space than traditional saddles. The 8004084 JayHook holds and transports your kayak at an angle with the cockpit facing outward. Yakima's steel frame JayHook Kayak Carriers are generously padded to gently protect your valuable kayak. Heavy duty tie down straps are included to securely fasten your kayak to your JayHook Cradles. Bow and stern tie down straps are included, and strongly recommended, to prevent movement caused by crosswinds and sudden stops and accelerations. Tool free installation makes setup fast and easy.
